Multivitamins Look Up

Was looking up what foods you should eat with your multivitamins to maximize absorption. Can't find anything yet, but came across this article that I'm skeptical about mostly because I don't want to believe it.

Says that tablet form vitamins have their vitamins mostly destroyed by stomach acids unless they're protected by some expensive stuff. Say it isn't so.

Googled if multivitamins were a waste.

Sounds like you have to spend money if you want stuff that works.

Everything conflicts, and I don't know who to trust cause you know everyone's trying to sell junk, the other side just sounds like haters trying to sell something else.

Natural vs Synthetic Vitamins
http://www.vitamins-nutrition.org/vitamins/natural-vitamins-synthetic.html
Can't really tell if they're better or not cause usually they're molecularly the same, but the author says liquid vitamins absorb 5X better

Also, I just asked the doctor what he thought about multivitamins. He said, "Good for you, especially vitamin D because it's the only one proven to be beneficial. The rest are just suggestive." He also said I didn't need the calcium yet.

I used to feel like I shouldn't pee after taking vitamins or something, but it doesn't matter cause once it's pee, then you can't absorb those nutrients anymore anyway, or can you?

  1. everything in the world is a gimmick. we should just eat fruits and vegetables and not believe in pharmaceuticals. let's just be vegan.

  2. you're on the other side trying to sell your lifestyle to us, plus how do I know that eating fruits and vegetables does anything?

  3. think about it. With something like iron or calcium, how do stomach acids destroy elements? With vitamins, how are they different than the vitamins in the vegetables? How are vegetables protecting the nutrients? Should we not cook vegetables because we're destroying the nutrients?

  4. is it cause the vitamins are synthetic?

  5. I didn't see that third link the first time.

I think if they're molecularly the same, then it's the same. How can your body tell the difference?

Also how do you synthesize iron and calcium differently than natural iron and calcium?
